Things Single Income Families Shouldn’t Have in Their Larders

Eight dollar almond butter from the farmers’ market.

I’m embarrassed at myself.

More embarrassing still? I already have a full jar of the TJ’s variety in the fridge, and another one in the cabinet. I also have a full jar of organic peanut butter and a half-eaten jar of sunflower seed butter. In short, we need more nut butters around here like I need a hole in the head.

This is some kind of a disease. I must seek help.

Or some really good jam.

I choose the latter.
