Done:
- Walked dog.
- Baked batch of scones
- Put away load of laundry
- Took daughter’s temperature: 102
- Got daughter down for abnormally early nap.
- Posted
- Paid bills.
- Filed receipts.
- Called home insurance company.
- Cleaned watercolor paint off of hardwood floors.
- Picked up what seemed like every toy MJ has ever owned, for what seemed like the umpteenth time.
- Straightened “guest room” (AKA the “office” or “lodge”) for mother’s upcoming visit. Had to do it quickly. Floor is slanted. I get seasick.
- Made note to buy Dramamine for mother’s stay.
- Vacuumed entire house, including shower floor, while simultaneously reassuring MJ that she was not in mortal danger.
- Dusted (actually vacuumed) windowsills.
- Walked dog again.
- Swept steps and walkway in back “yard.” Pulled up one weed. It had a thorn. Gave up.
- Brought in trash bins.
- Contemplated the un-picked-up Christmas tree at curb. Neglected to address.
- Made sick daughter three dinners in attempt to get her to eat. Failed.
- Read her nearly every book in her library, some twice. Became convinced I was setting a personal record.
- Got her down early.
- Washed dinner dishes.
- Picked up what seemed like every toy MJ has ever owned, for what seemed like the umpteenth time.
You put my to-done list to shame! Bravo!
