I love this little planting calendar I bought on Etsy.

It is so pretty to look at, and tells me all the things I could be doing in my vegetable garden. If I had one. But that would require a) having my soil tested, b) building planters and c) braving the many black widow spiders I am convinced are in my back yard. So I am going to watch Downton Abbey instead. If it’s good enough for 4.2 million others, how can I resist? Plus, Edwardian gardens were spectacular. Call it research.
